Diana Wallis and Stewart Arnold
In the run up to the European Elections 2009 we invited the Lib Dem MEP for Yorkshire and the Humber, Diana Wallis, and the Lib Dem candidate Stewart Arnold to talk about the European Parliament.
In the one and a half hour long discussion with students many issues ranging from regional representation in the EU to Diana's work in the European Parliament were raised.
We would like to thank Diana Wallis and Stewart Arnold for their time, and Ben Zazcek, Stanislav Maselnik and Lukas Goltermann for the organisational work.

European Elections Talk
We have invited two speakers to Sheffield University for Friday 29th May.

Stewart Arnold - A Lib Dem candidate for Yorkshire and the Humber and
Diana Wallis - MEP and Vice President of the European Parliament

will host an informal drop-in session in the Satpal Ram meeting room off the Gallery from 11 am til 12.30pm. This is an extraordinary opportunity to personnaly talk to a current and a prospective MEP who represent the interests of Yorkshire and the Humber (that is us!) at the European level!
Everyone who has questions about the work of MEPs, the European Parliament, and the European party system is very welcome to drop by any time.
Best,
your European Society!
